Subject	Slave Pump went bad mechanic said its the Trans

Message	I drove my 91 z one day to work everything was perfect. Got out from work and as soon as go to press the clutch i hear a pop and the clutch goes to the floor. i can move it back and forth and forth and start the car in gear but its not safe to drive at all. I towed the car back home and saw the slave cylinder was leaking after we tried bleeding the clutch. took it to a mechanic gave him the new slave i bought he goes under the car for 10 seconds and says its not just the slave its something in the trans and its gonna cost 550 just to open it up. I want to have an idea of what it might be and also i want to know if their is any good mechanics in the middlesex county area that are good with Z's . I know it could be various things here i would like your opinion and possible cost repairs. Thanks a lot!
